Welp, today was okay. I've been finding myself a little depressed lately. I have put on a few pounds and I'm not happy about it. I have not been doing well on watching what I eat, but I have been exercising everyday! That's a plus. So, tomorrow is a new day. A while back, I found this website called caloriecount.com. It's great to help you track your food and activity for the day. It will track just about anything. I'm gonna get on the ball and start that agian tomorrow. I'm not going to touch and soft drink and I will watch my portions.
Tracking is a great way to help you lose weight. It gives you an idea of how many calories you actually consume during the day. You wouldn't think snacking on small stuff here and there would add up to as many calories as it does, but again, it's all in what you eat. I know by cutting out soft drinks, I will drop a few pounds. That's a good way to start. That's just how my body works. I'm going to give up my lovely Hershey's Cookies and Cream bars. (huge!) So anyway, I am having the worst time trying to find a medium for this whole weight loss thing. It's so irritating. I know the medium is there, I just can't find it. I will find it!! And when I do, I'll tell you all about it!
This is how this is going to work..........I'm going to track every single bite of food, every single sip of water, and every single step that I take. I want to lose ATLEAST 15 pounds in the next couple of months. I've done it before, so I know it's possible. I told y'all about the Visalus shakes, well, I like those so I'm going to continue to have atleast one everyday. Tomorrow, I'll be starting Raspberry Ketones. Per Dr. Oz this supplement is a massive fat burner, so we will see. He said if you don't see results in the first day of taking these supplements then you will definitely see results in the first week. I'll be weighing in, in the morning and again next Tuesday. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Heck, I've tried about everything else to help me lose weight, I sure hope this works!
So after taking JaeJae to school this morning, me and Gracie came home for breakfast and I had a Blackberry Visalus shake. We didn't go straight to the gym, because she wasn't feeling well. About 10:30 she said she was feeling pretty good, so mommy got to go to the gym. I spent my 30 minutes on the treadmill and got my 2 miles in and took my sweet girl to the Mighty Dollar. (She loves her some dollar store.) I didn't want to keep her out long, just in case, so we came back home for the day. When we got home, I made a steak and mushroom quesadilla with reduced fat pepper jack cheese with a little bit of A1 and a salad with cheese, olives, cucumber and ranch. It was so good, and it was pretty healthy, until.......I remembered that I had a Hershey's Cookies and Cream bar in the fridge!! Yep, I ate it. lol. And is was so good! I snacked on some Mixed Nuts, which are high in calories, but good for you.
After we picked JaeJae up from school and ran a few errands, we came home for dinner. We had Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. I love eating this, it was a meal we had quite often when I was younger. :) I'm not a big fan of mac and cheese, but Johnny loves it and JaeJae and Gracie love mashed potatoes. It was simple but good.
The best part about this evening was going to my best friends house and playing Zumba on the Wii with her and her sister. It was so much fun! We didn't have a clue what we were doing, but it was so much fun trying. Then it was at home for some Yoga on the Wii fit. Needless to say, I'll be sleeping good tonight.
I have a super busy day scheduled for tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it though. I'll be tracking in my journal until I can get home to enter all my food on calorie count. I'm gonna take a friends advice and take pics of my food.............and maybe exercising, maybe. lol. I'm gonna try to do some research on some new recipes that are good for you. Here lately, I've been all about researching the best fat burning foods. I'll share anything good that I find.
