Today is Monday, February 6th, 2012. It's been a great day. I've been thinking about what to blog about. I know it will be what I done today, what I've ate, and all that good stuff, but the entire reason for this blog is to help others. So, I was thinking..........if I'm going to do this, I need to be honest, with you and myself. I have to tell you things that I don't want anyone else to know. Things like the junk food that I have ate, how much I weigh, what size clothes I wear, and how I really feel about myself. So, here it goes.............
I started my day with a Strawberry Cheesecake Visalus Smoothie. I really like the Visalus Shakes, they tastes great, but I have to confess, I haven't truly been having the shakes twice a day like I should. I love them for breakfast, but I like eating a meal at dinner. But anyway, I took Jae to school and then went to the gym. Another nice thing about the shakes, they are very mobile. :) So, I went to the gym and got on ol faithful (the treadmill) 45 minutes and 3 miles later and I called it quits. I really want to try the eliptical, but I'm working on my stamina right now. I just know that eliptical will kick my butt if I try it now, so I'm gonna give it another couple of weeks or so. It really sucks going to the gym by myself. Grant it, I like being able to concentrate on my work out and clearing my mind, but being by myself, I won't go outside of my comfort zone. I don't like to try new things alone. Although, I did try Yoga last week, which I loved. I can't wait to go again in the morning.
Once me and Gracie came home, I had one of my favorite snacks, a blueberry whole grain waffle with peanut butter and just a little bit of syrup. Yum-O! And I did try something new today. I found some powder water enhancer packets at walmart. They are the Great Value brand. The are supposed to give you energy. It was grape flavored and it tastes really good. I was suprised. I've been drinking on it all day and I have to tell you, I haven't been tired at all today. Impressive....lol. So, that was pretty great.
We all know that yesterday was SuperBowl, so I have junk food leftovers. Guess what I had for lunch.....yep, Buffalo Chicken Dip and Chips. Well, that's all. And of course after lunch I wanted something sweet. I made no bake chocolate peanut butter oatmeal cookies made with visalus mix. They were great! So that was my afternoon snack. And for dinner more Buffalo Chicken Dip and Chips, dessert more no bake cookies. What? I haven't had a soda all day. I'm happy and I'm full! I worked my booty off in the gym and I intend on doing that every single day. I even thought about going back this evening, but Johnny and Gracie aren't feeling well, so I stayed at home.
Alright, on to the part I've been dreading. Just to let everyone know, I am 5 ft 6 3/4 inches tall. I weigh about 175. It really changes from day to day, depending on EVERYTHING! Being a woman is hard. lol. I can usually wear a size 10 or 11 in pants, again, depending on how they are made. The same with shirts M, L, or XL. Geez, it really is complicated. Welp there's the bad stuff. No, I am not happy with my body. I have been obese and I have had two kids. I could use a little nip/tuck, but there is noooo way I'd ever consider that. I'm working on feeling comfortable in my own skin. Others feeling comfortable with the way I look, well that's another thing.
So, tomorrow is another day. Yoga in the morning (yay!) and I'm gonna try to keep busy the rest of the day. It's looking like a laudry kind of day. So good night y'all. We'll meet again tomorrow!! :)
